Saw an ad on Facebook marketplace last week for a used unit, owner said it was only two years old and barely used, price was almost half of new so I jumped on it. Brought it back to our shop in Ras Al Khor and it seemed fine at first, lifted a couple of pallets no problem. But after a few days I started noticing the handle does not return smoothly and sometimes the forks drop a little when you are rolling it. Now I am worried I bought someone else's headache. The seller is not responding to messages obviously. Is there anything I can check myself before calling a technician, like maybe the oil level or some adjustment screw somewhere? I am not very technical with these things honestly. Also is it worth repairing or should I just cut my losses and buy new? Feels stupid to spend more money fixing a used hydraulic hand pallet trolley when I could have just bought a proper one from the start. Lesson learned I guess but would appreciate any tips on what usually goes wrong with these units so I know what I am dealing with.
