Small dent on my door, paint intact, do I really need a bodyshop? - roybryant - 09-29-2026 Someone opened their door into my Corolla in a parking lot and left a small dent on the rear door. The paint is completely fine, no cracking or chipping, just a shallow dent the size of a coin. I took it to a bodyshop and they immediately started talking about filling and repainting the whole door, which sounded like overkill and way more expensive than I expected. A friend told me about affordable paintless dent removal in Musaffah Shabiya and said they fixed a similar ding on his car in under an hour without touching the paint. That sounds like exactly what I need but I'm skeptical about whether PDR actually works on all dents or if some are too sharp or stretched. Also wondering if the dent being on a door crease makes it harder to fix. Has anyone here had PDR done and did it come out completely invisible? Would love to avoid a full repaint if I can. |
